Simon Wood is the Head of EMEA Gas, LNG and Low Carbon Gases Consulting at S&P Global, where they have served since 2022. Previously, they held various roles at S&P Global Platts, culminating in the position of Head of European Gas Analytics. Simon's prior experience includes working as a Senior Economist at ConocoPhillips and as an Analyst at British Gas Business. They began their career as an Analyst in Client Valuations at Barclays and are currently pursuing CFA Level 1. Simon earned a BSc in Political Science from the University of Bristol from 2001 to 2004.
