Sylvain Broyer is an accomplished economist currently serving as the Chief Economist for EMEA at S&P Global Ratings since September 2018. In addition to this role, Sylvain Broyer has been a Lecturer at Université Paris-Dauphine, teaching applied economics to financial markets at the Master 2 level since January 2010. Prior to joining S&P Global Ratings, Sylvain Broyer held various positions at Natixis from January 2002 to August 2018, including Member of the General Management for the Frankfurt Branch, Head of Economics, and Eurozone Economist. Sylvain Broyer's career began at Groupe Caisse des Dépôts as an Assistant in Portfolio Management from 2000 to 2001. Educationally, Sylvain Broyer holds a Double PhD in Economics from Goethe University Frankfurt, obtained between 1994 and 2006.
