Tianyu Chen is a PhD in Chemical Engineering with expertise in process simulation, thermodynamic modeling, and carbon capture. Currently serving as an Associate Director at S&P Global since 2023, Tianyu focuses on upstream cost and supply chain analytics, CCUS, and techno-economic analysis. Previously, they gained experience as a Research Chemical Engineer at RTI International from 2021 to 2023 and worked as a Research Assistant at Texas Tech University from 2016 to 2021. Tianyu also served as a Teaching Assistant at Texas Tech University in 2015-2016.
