Tim Bennett

Tim Bennett currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at S&P Global, focusing on Data, Valuations, and Analytics since March 2022. Prior to this role, Tim was Managing Director and CTO for Financial Services - Equities at IHS Markit from September 2019 to June 2022. Tim's extensive experience in the financial sector includes serving as Executive Director at J.P. Morgan from November 2005 to August 2019, and as Vice President at Deutsche Bank, where responsibilities included technology ownership of systems for managing derivatives processing. Tim began a career in finance as an Associate at Bankers Trust, focusing on Fixed Income Repo support and Rapid Application Development Technology. Tim holds a Business Studies Degree in Accounting and Finance with Information Technology from the University of Limerick, completed between 1993 and 1997, and attended St Peters College in Wexford from 1988 to 1993.
