Adam Goetz

Adam Goetz, PMP has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the US Navy and Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. Adam currently serves as the Information Systems & Technology Department Head at the US Navy. Prior to this, they worked as a Technical Program Analyst at Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc., providing strategic planning and support to the Undersea and Surface Warfare communities.

In their earlier years, Adam Goetz held multiple positions in the US Navy, including Nuclear Training Officer at Navy Recruiting Command, Communications Officer at USS Henry M Jackson SSBN-730 (Blue), and Chemical/Radiological Assistant at USS Henry M Jackson SSBN-730 (Blue). Adam also underwent Navy Nuclear Training during this time.

Adam Goetz, PMP has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering & Computer Engineering, which they obtained from the United States Naval Academy between the years 2008 and 2012. Adam then pursued further education and completed their Master of Engineering Management degree at Old Dominion University from 2018 to 2020. In order to enhance their expertise in project management, Adam also obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in November 2020. Additionally, Adam attended the Nuclear Power School at the Naval Nuclear Power Training Command (NNPTC) in 2012 and 2013. Currently, they are attending the USAF Air Command and Staff College, where they are working towards obtaining a JPME 1 degree, with an expected completion date in 2022.
