Alex Schmid has a diverse work experience. In 2014-2018, they served as the Head Referee for McLean Youth Volleyball. From 2019-2021, they were a member of the Intelligent Human-Centered Computing Lab. In 2020, they also worked as a CONEX Coach for UVA. Starting in 2020, they began working as a Systems Engineering Concepts Teaching Assistant at the University of Virginia, a role they held until 2022. In 2021, they interned as a Transportation Planning and Traffic Operations Intern at Kimley-Horn. From 2022-2023, they worked as a Civil Analyst at Kimley-Horn. Currently, since 2023, they are employed as an Operations Research Systems Analyst at Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. Alex also has experience as a YouTube Creator since 2015.
Alex Schmid attended George C. Marshall High School from 2014 to 2018 and obtained a High School Diploma. Following that, Alex went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering at the University of Virginia from 2018 to 2022. In May 2022, Alex obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Virginia.
