Benjamin Levy has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Benjamin most recently worked as a Software and IT Manager at Edison Innovative Power. Earlier in their career, Levy worked as a Research Engineer, Technology Developer, and Data Analyst at Sensis Corporation. Benjamin also served as a Senior air traffic management analyst at MITRE, where they contributed to the development of the TARGETS software product and made operational improvements through aircraft wake-vortex mitigation.

Levy's educational background includes a post-doctoral researcher role at the University of Maryland and a Graduate PhD student role at the same institution. Benjamin also worked as an instructor at JHU part-time programs.

Benjamin Levy completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Geology from Carleton College in 1982. Benjamin then pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Virginia, completing it in 1987. Later, from 1996 to 1999, they attended the University of Maryland and earned a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering.
