David Fox has extensive work experience in the field of information system security and technology. David started their career as a Welder/Fabricator at Mid South Machine and Maintenance in 2010, where they fabricated, assembled, and repaired sheet metal products and equipment. In 2012, they joined the United States Army as a Supervisor of Communications, responsible for coordinating transport and storage of communications equipment and achieving a 100% pass rate on inspections. David later became a Department Manager, leading teams in weather/climate analysis and implementing standards to improve personnel readiness. In 2015, David transitioned to the role of Operations Manager, leading a team in maintaining and deploying communications equipment. During their time in the Army, they developed strong leadership and organizational skills.
In 2018, David joined Microsoft's Software and Systems Academy, where they focused on building a foundation for Server and Cloud Administration and gained knowledge in virtualization and high availability infrastructures.
In 2019, they joined SAIC as an Information System Security Officer, conducting risk assessments and implementing security controls for the AFRL DSRC. David also served as a Help Desk Specialist, providing technical support. David transitioned to BAE Systems in 2022 as a System Security Engineer II, conducting risk and vulnerability assessments and working with subcontractors and vendors to evaluate secure operating systems. Currently, they are working as an Information System Security Manager at Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc., where they support, coordinates, and monitors system security posture. David also develops and maintains information systems security program and policies.
