Doug A.

Doug A. has a diverse work experience in various roles related to security and investigations. Starting in 2014, they worked as a Private Investigator and Supervisor at Applied Professional Services, where they conducted numerous investigations and managed a team of investigators. From 2017 to 2018, they served as a Protective Service Worker at the County of San Diego, investigating cases of child abuse and neglect. In 2018, they joined CACI International Inc as a Special Investigator and Personnel Security, conducting investigative interviews and generating reports for background investigations. In 2022, they worked at Jacobs as a Site Security Manager and Representative, where they monitored and inspected construction projects. Doug then joined UICGS/Bowhead Family of Companies in 2023 as a Facility Security Manager, responsible for physical security construction and enforcing standards. Currently, they are employed by Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. as a Security Manager, overseeing multiple secure locations and updating physical security documentation. Prior to these roles, Doug A. also served in the Army National Guard, where they were a Security Manager and Senior Enlisted Leader, managing security functions and supervising security managers and intelligence professionals within the organization.

Doug A. obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Social & Criminal Justice from Ashford University, where they studied from 2010 to 2015. Doug then pursued further education and earned a Master's degree in Criminal Justice Cybercrime and Technology from The University of Arizona Global Campus from 2017 to 2022. In addition to their academic achievements, Doug A. also holds several certifications. In 2016, they obtained the CrossFit Level 1 certificate from CrossFit, Inc. and in 2021, they achieved the CrossFit Level II certificate from CrossFit, LLC. Furthermore, they have obtained several security-related certifications from CDSE/STEPP, including the Basic Industrial Security for the Government Security Curriculum certificate in January 2023, the Industrial Security for Non-Security Government Personnel Curriculum certificate in February 2023, and the Air Force Security Manager Curriculum certificate in February 2023. Additionally, they achieved the FSO Orientation for Non-Processing Facilities Curriculum certificate from CDSE/STEPP in February 2022 and the FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities Curriculum certificate in March 2022.
