Eric Watkins

Data Analyst at SPA

Eric Watkins has a diverse work experience in the field of mining engineering and data analysis. Eric is currently working as a Data Analyst at Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Mining Engineer at the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health from 2019 to 2022, where they conducted field studies and developed simulation models to analyze gas inflow in underground coal mines.

Eric also has experience as a Graduate Student Researcher at Virginia Tech Mining and Minerals Engineering from 2016 to 2018, where they led international research projects and utilized software tools for simulating underground mine environments. Eric also worked as a Research Associate at the University of Nottingham in 2017, conducting CFD modeling for foam flow in simulated coal mine environments.

Additionally, Eric attended the Marine Academy of Science and Technology from 2008 to 2012, although no degree or field of study information was provided for this institution.
