Gary Sweany

Lead For Safety Programs Support Senior Systems Engineer at SPA

Gary Sweany has had a diverse work experience. Gary started their career at the U.S. Navy, where they worked in Submarine Operations and Nuclear Power from 1985 to 1994. Gary then transitioned to the role of Engineering Duty Officer from 1994 to 2005. In 2006, they joined Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc, initially as a Lead for Safety Programs Support and Senior Systems Engineer, and later as a Systems Engineering Manager until 2013.

Gary Sweany received their Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Engineering from Kansas State University between the years 1982 and 1986. Gary then pursued further education and completed their Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at Naval Postgraduate School from 1994 to 1997.
