Gavin Spadin

Gavin Spadin has a diverse work experience spanning several industries.

Gavin is currently working as a Senior Systems Analyst at Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. since September 2022.

Prior to this, Gavin worked at Metron, Inc. for over nine years. Gavin held various roles, including Senior Systems Analyst from July 2019 to September 2022, Lead Systems Analyst from October 2015 to July 2019, and Systems Analyst from September 2012 to October 2015. In these positions, they led technical studies for the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations and the Naval Information Warfare Systems Command, focusing on Naval, Joint, and National C4ISR and Warfighting systems. Gavin directed and employed modeling and simulation techniques, architectural development, and operations research methods for systems analysis and engineering.

Before joining Metron, Inc., they worked at Brethren Colleges Abroad as a Project Leader for Off-Grid Solar Power work-study abroad. Gavin was responsible for off-grid solar energy system consulting and design, project planning and management of a multinational team, and reporting related to the project implementation.

Gavin also gained experience as a Nuclear Physics Research Intern at the U.S. Department of Energy. Their responsibilities in this role included designing and implementing IR optics apparatus, performing measurements on experimental Helium-3 target cells, and producing a technical report.

Lastly, they served as a Social Sciences Research Intern at Camp and Associates, LLC during the summers from 2004 to 2007. Gavin supported a confidential study for DOD/DOA by collating research data and focusing on data collection and follow-up.
