Greg Clemens has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering, particularly in structural engineering and explosive effects analysis. Greg started their career in 1986 as a Research Structural Engineer at the US Army Corps of Engineers, where they worked for 15 years. Greg then moved on to the Naval Special Warfare Development Group, where they served as a Research Structural Engineer for 2 years, focusing on engineering expertise for research activities related to weapons effects and explosive demolition exercises.

Afterward, they joined the Idaho National Laboratory as a Senior Advisory Structural Engineer, where they worked for 9 years. In this role, they were responsible for the design, implementation, and performance of Department of Energy structures with respect to weapon effects and dynamic explosive loadings. Greg also contributed to the creation of the laboratory's vulnerability assessment center of excellence and developed formal training programs in explosive engineering.

Greg's next move was to Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc., where they worked as a Research Engineer for an unspecified duration. Following that, they became a Partner-Engineer at Snake River Prototyping, Inc., starting in 2011. And since 2013, they have been the Owner-Engineer of Barrier Island Consulting, LLC.

Greg Clemens received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering from Louisiana State University, where they studied from 1980 to 1985. Greg has also obtained certification as a Professional Civil Engineer and is currently registered in Idaho, Louisiana, and Virginia.
