Jason Brandt

Jason Brandt has a diverse work experience in satellite communications and military operations. Jason is currently employed as a Satellite Communications Engineer at Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. Since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at LinQuest as a Satellite Communications Systems Engineer from 2019 to 2022. Jason also served as the Division Chief - Satellite Communications and GPS Operations at Joint Force Space Component Command from 2016 to 2019.

Before transitioning to the civilian sector, Jason served in the US Navy, holding various roles such as Command & Control, Communications, Computer and Information Officer from 2014 to 2016, and Information Management Officer for the US Sixth Fleet from 2009 to 2011. Jason started their naval career as a Nuclear Submarine Officer and later took on the role of Nuclear Operations and Training Engineer. In this position, they managed and supervised a Nuclear Training Ship Crew, responsible for training and disciplining enlisted and officer students and overseeing the operation and maintenance of a Moored Training Ship.

Additionally, Jason pursued higher education, attending the Naval Postgraduate School as a Graduate Student from 2011 to 2013. Overall, their work experience demonstrates their expertise in satellite communications, military operations, and leadership skills in supervising and training personnel.

Jason Brandt completed their Master of Science (M.S.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer and Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, where they studied from 1997 to 2002. In addition to their formal education, Jason Brandt holds a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)², although the specific date of certification is not provided.
