Jen King has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Benefits Analyst at MCR Federal in 2007. In this position, they gained expertise in data collection, cost analysis, and benefits analysis within the FAA domain. Jen developed models and provided benefits estimates for various FAA investment analyses, including surveillance and broadcast services, runway status lights, and interval management spacing applications.
Prior to their role at MCR Federal, Jen worked as an Operations Research Analyst in the US Army from August 2002 to February 2007. During their time there, they utilized software such as Arena and Excel to create a System of Systems Availability Model (SoSAM) for determining the operational availability of weapon systems in the FCS. Jen also performed analyses and model upgrades to meet customer needs, and regularly briefed customers and senior leadership on the results. Additionally, they provided tutorials on how to use SoSAM.
Jen King completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Math and Psychology from the University of Virginia, which they earned between 1998 and 2002. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Operations Research from the University of Delaware, which they obtained from 2002 to 2004.
