John Sullivan has a diverse work experience that spans several roles and organizations. John has worked in various capacities in the United States Marine Corps, including as an Officer and in leadership positions such as Chief of Staff and Director. In these roles, they have developed strategies, managed operations, and coordinated emergency response efforts.

John has also worked in the United States Department of the Navy as a Staff Director, where they provided support and advice to senior executives on manpower and reserve component affairs. John organized a large human resources staff and implemented a task management system to improve efficiency and response times.

Outside of the military, John has served as a Senior Program Manager for a faith-based organization, where they recruited and supervised volunteers for community service programs. John was also a Learning Development Officer and Board Member for the same organization.

Additionally, John has worked as an Adjunct Professor at Marine Corps University and held leadership positions in learning and organizational development within the Marine Corps. John has experience coordinating large-scale expansions, managing budgets, and integrating diverse personnel.

Currently, John is a Senior Program Analyst at Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. and served as a Hiring Our Heroes Corporate Fellow.

John Sullivan's education history begins in 1989 when they attended the University of Mississippi, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy. Following this, in 2001, they enrolled at Webster University and completed a Master's degree in Public Administration. Moving forward, from 2005 to 2006, John pursued a Master's degree in Military Science at Marine Corps University. In the subsequent year, they pursued a Master's degree in Operational Studies at the same institution. Lastly, in 2013 to 2014, John attended the U.S. Naval War College, where they earned a Master's degree in National Security and Strategic Studies.
