Matt Hooker

Matt Hooker has extensive experience in leadership and analytics, currently serving as the Assistant Group Leader for the Acquisition and Technology Analysis Group at Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc., overseeing a team of nearly 100 professionals and delivering analytic services to various Department of Defense clients. With a history in program management and senior analytical roles, Matt has effectively contributed to critical decision-making processes within the Department of Defense. Prior experience includes service as a Staff Action Officer in the United States Navy, where responsibilities involved wartime briefings and maritime operational expertise. Matt also held a position as a Software Developer at Northrop Grumman, focusing on naval radar systems. Education includes a BS in Math from Virginia Tech, an MBA in Finance from the University of Maryland, a Project Management Certificate from Georgetown University, and an Aviation Safety Officer Certificate from the Naval Postgraduate School.
