Michael McCarty

Michael McCarty has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Michael is currently working as a Cyber Security Analyst at Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. since October 2021. Previously, they served as an Information System Security Officer at SudoLynx Inc from September 2020 to September 2021.

Prior to their civilian career, Michael had a successful military career with the US Army. Michael served in various leadership positions with the 2nd Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division from November 2003 to October 2011 and with the 1st Infantry Division (1-26 IN BN) from October 2000 to October 2003.

During their time in the US Army, Michael held roles such as BN SUAS MASTER TRAINER, Platoon Sergeant, Assistant Operations Sergeant, and Operations Sergeant. Michael demonstrated their expertise in coordinating SUAS operations, training and tracking Raven Operators, advising command leadership on SUAS capabilities, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

In addition, Michael worked as a Senior Instructor Writer and Platoon Sergeant at the U.S. Army Infantry School from October 2011 to January 2015. Michael also served as an Operations Sergeant with the Joint Special Operations Command from December 2017 to May 2018.
