Michael Mierau

Michael Mierau currently serves as a Senior Mergers and Acquisitions Counsel at Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. Michael has extensive experience advising the Department of Defense on major domestic mergers and acquisitions. Previously, Michael held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Forward Defense Munitions, Co., and Partner at The Law Firm of John P. Mahoney, Esq., Attorneys at Law. With a background in law and military service, Michael has served in various legal roles within the US Army, including as a Chief of Litigation Division and Staff Judge Advocate. Michael holds a Juris Doctor degree from Cleveland State University College of Law, a Master of Laws in Military Law, and a Master of Arts in Strategic Studies.
