Mike Burns

Mike Burns has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and organizations. Mike began their career as a Naval Officer in 2017 and went on to serve in various positions within the US Navy and the Office of Naval Intelligence. In 2011, they led a team of over 60 individuals at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. In 2014, they became the Executive Officer at the Nimitz Operational Intelligence Center. Mike also worked as the Digital Warfare Office Chief of Staff at OPNAV N2N6 Staff, where they managed various digital transformation efforts for the Navy. Since 2018, they have been employed at Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc., serving in roles such as Contract Manager, Program Manager, Military Operations Analyst, and Assistant Program Manager. Overall, Mike Burns has demonstrated their expertise in program management, operations analysis, and strategic leadership throughout their career.

Mike Burns completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies from Villanova University from 1985 to 1988. Mike then pursued a Masters of Science degree in National Security Strategy from the National War College from 2010 to 2011.
