Ryan Kuhns

Ryan Kuhns is a seasoned military operations analyst currently employed at Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. since September 2022. Previously, Ryan served as Deputy Director of Production Operations and Program Analyst at the National Nuclear Security Administration from June 2017 to September 2022. Ryan's professional journey also includes a role as an NNSA Graduate Fellow at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory from June 2016 to June 2017, and a research associate position at PAXsims focused on war gaming. Additional experience includes a research analyst internship at The Millennium Project, where Ryan analyzed international security issues, and a research assistant role at the University of Kentucky, conducting extensive research on violence acceptance and gun ownership. Ryan's early experiences include organizing efforts with Organizing for America, enhancing skills in grassroots mobilization and data management. Ryan holds a Master's Degree in Diplomacy and International Commerce from the University of Kentucky and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from the University of South Carolina Aiken.
