Taylor Engdahl is a senior scientist providing SETA support to the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) since August 2022, contributing expertise in science communication and technical analysis to the Biological Technologies Office. Previously, Taylor completed a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology at Vanderbilt University, focusing on the humoral immune response to hantavirus infection under the advisement of James E. Crowe. Additional experience includes participating in NASW's David Perlman Summer Mentoring Program and serving as a Science Communication Intern at the Vanderbilt Institute for Infection, Immunology, and Inflammation. Prior to graduate studies, Taylor held multiple roles at St. Mary's College of Maryland, including Title IX Professional Fellow and Teaching Assistant, and completed an undergraduate research fellowship at The Scripps Research Institute in Florida.
