Thomas Troyano currently serves as the Vice President and Nuclear Modernization Fellow at Systems Planning & Analysis since January 2022. Prior to this role, Thomas held various positions at the Department of Defense from January 1994 to January 2021, including Director of Strategic Deterrence and Capabilities, where oversight of key nuclear programs was a primary responsibility. In this capacity, Thomas led assessments and decision-making regarding Milestones A and B for significant programs such as the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent and the Long Range Stand Off Weapon.
