Tye Young

Tye Young has a background in various roles and industries. Starting in 2008, Tye worked as an Operations Officer at Live Payments, where they managed stock, customer payment details, and provided technical support. In 2012, they transitioned to becoming a Doctoral Candidate at The Australian National University, conducting a study on dwarf galaxies. Tye then joined the Royal Australian Air Force in 2016 as a Student Pilot, later becoming an Operations Officer responsible for coordinating operations and taskings. In 2018, Tye joined Jacobs as the JSF Training Sub-project Deputy Project Manager, responsible for administering project controls and managing training-related procurements. They also held roles as the AIR6000 Ph2C Deputy Project Manager and the AIR6000 Ph6 Deputy Project Manager at Jacobs, where they developed cost models, managed integrated master schedules, and coordinated project activities. Currently, Tye is working as an Operations Analyst at Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. starting in 2023.

Tye Young obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from The Australian National University, graduating in 2011. Continuing with their education, they achieved a Master of Philosophy in Astronomy and Astrophysics from the same university, completing their studies in 2019.
