Vance A. has a strong background in test and evaluation, program management, and cybersecurity. Vance started their career in 2003 with the US Army, holding various roles, such as Assistant Product Manager for Target Identification and Meteorological Sensors and Assistant Product Manager for Infantry Carrier Vehicle/Medical Vehicle. In these positions, they were responsible for overseeing technical development, production, and fielding of equipment valued at millions of dollars. Vance also provided support to Future Combat Systems and managed large teams of government and contractor personnel.

In 2009, Vance joined Booz Allen Hamilton as a Program Analyst, where they provided project management support to the Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate. Vance was responsible for managing the development of the Work Breakdown Structure and leading the IT transition for the Fusion Modeling and Simulation Division.

Vance then worked as a Test and Evaluation Consultant at CGI from 2011 to 2012. In this role, they provided onsite support to the Intelligence Community and assisted in the oversight of Major System Acquisitions and other programs.

From 2012 to 2017, Vance worked at DigiFlight, Inc. as a Test Engineer. Vance provided test and evaluation support for programs under the Defense Information System Agency, reviewing test plans, procedures, and reports for completeness and consistency.

Most recently, Vance joined Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. in 2017 as a Cyber Incident Case Manager. In this role, they lead the analysis of compromised data to protect controlled technical information for the Department of Defense. Vance conducts thorough analysis, coordinates case analytic requirements, and synthesizes assessment results with existing information and reporting.

Continuing their education, Vance pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from Webster University from 2001 to 2003. Later, from 2014 to 2016, Vance obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Cybersecurity from the same institution, Webster University. Finally, in 2018 to 2019, they completed a Master of Arts (MA) in Procurement/Acquisitions, solidifying their expertise in this field.
