Space Bar — The future of cocktails, on a starship in downtown Pittsburgh

Space Bar is the city’s first and only molecular-mixology lounge, independently owned and operated by locals Dale Vaughn and Elizabeth Menzel. Our crew wields world-class techniques—spherification, fat-washing, foams and infusions—to turn fresh botanicals into cocktails that look and taste like the future.

Step aboard the SS Oasis in Market Square and peer through a twenty-foot “window” that opens onto deep space. The panoramic projection and star-ship set design drop you into an immersive voyage before the first sip.

Every recipe undergoes weeks of R&D to balance science with hospitality. Whether you order a Fifth Ele-mint or a zero-proof Tartooine Sour, you’ll experience precision flavor delivered with genuine Pittsburgh warmth.

Join us as we go where no bar has gone before—right here in the heart of Market Square, Pittsburgh.
