Stephen Kitay

Stephen Kitay is the Senior Vice President of Space Defense at True Anomaly, a position they have held since 2025. Previously, they served as a Professional Staff Member on the House Armed Services Committee from 2011 to 2017 and as a Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Space Policy from 2017 to 2020 within the U.S. Department of Defense. Their military experience includes serving as an Active Duty Military Officer in the United States Air Force from 2002 to 2008, followed by a role as a Technical Intelligence Officer for the U.S. Government. In addition to their current roles, Stephen is a Board of Advisors member for both the National Security Space Association and the Space Force Association and serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Georgetown University. Stephen is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at Syracuse University and a Master of Business Administration at the University of West Florida.
