Lead CVD Engineer

Andrew Griffiths, PhD, is a Semiconductor Growth Engineer with specific expertise in III-V Epitaxy. They have extensive experience in production III-V MOCVD, focusing on InP-based and GaAs-based products, and previously worked as a research scientist on MBE growth of InAs quantum dots. Their career includes roles as R&D Epitaxy Director at Vital Materials Co., Limited, and Senior Process Engineer at IQE, where they oversaw InP processes for laser diode growth. Currently, Andrew works as the Lead CVD Engineer at Space Forge, while also serving as a Process Engineer at the Institute for Compound Semiconductors. Andrew holds an MEng and a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Sheffield.
