Gary Porter

Gary Porter is a Power System Architect at Space Forge since February 2025, bringing extensive experience in electronics design. Prior to this role, Gary served as a Senior Electronics Design Engineer at Thales Alenia Space from November 2009 to February 2025, where responsibilities included leading analogue design skills for flight hardware development in accordance with ECSS standards. Earlier in Gary's career, from January 1996 to November 2009, Gary worked as a Senior Researcher and Electronic Equipment Design Authority at Hewlett Packard Labs in Bristol. Gary holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Plymouth, completed between 1991 and 1995.
