Lewis D'Ambra has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Lewis is currently the Head of Government and Regulatory Affairs at Space Forge since January 2022. Before that, they worked at Surrey County Council as a Business Manager to the Leader from September 2021 to January 2022, and as a Cabinet Policy Manager from March 2021 to September 2021.

Prior to their time at Surrey County Council, Lewis worked at the Pension Protection Fund as an External Affairs Officer. During their tenure from October 2019 to March 2021, they focused on stakeholder engagement and communication strategies with government and parliament, while also writing speeches and policy briefing documents for the CEO.

Lewis also has experience working in the political arena. Lewis served as a Parliamentary Assistant and Political Researcher to Mrs. Madeleine Moon, MP from October 2017 to September 2019. In this role, they collaborated with other offices, organizations, and international representatives to plan meetings, write speeches and articles, and conduct political analysis.

Furthermore, Lewis has a background in the military, having served as a Lance Corporal in the British Army from July 2014 to October 2017. In this role, they demonstrated strong leadership and decision-making skills while managing a team and ensuring operational efficiency.

Lewis began their professional journey as a Student Representative and Secretary for the History Department at Cardiff University from September 2010 to July 2012. In this position, they supported students and improved department procedures through research and analysis of other university history departments.

From 2009 to 2012, Lewis attended Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History.

In 2015 and 2016, Lewis pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in International Security and Development from Swansea University.

In August 2018, Lewis obtained a certification in Intro to Data Analysis from Codecademy.
