Rob Webster is a geospatial data scientist with a robust background in project management and environmental science. Since graduating with a BSc in Physics from The University of Edinburgh in 2004, they have managed an Antarctic research station and contributed to significant conservation projects, including efforts to restore habitats on South Georgia Island. Rob has recently transitioned into Earth Observation and Remote Sensing, currently working as a Technical Lead. With a passion for technology and sustainability, Rob explores controlled-environment agriculture as a means to enhance food production while reducing carbon footprints. Their diverse interests also include woodworking and the construction of stringed instruments, alongside a history of international travel and fieldwork in some of the world’s most remote regions.
