Space Matters is a contemporary design studio based in Athens, specializing in architecture, interiors and spatial research.

Founded by Maria Paraskevopoulou, the studio embraces a research-based design approach that rejects pre-set formulas. We explore the relationship between materiality, proportion, and atmosphere, translating conceptual thinking into high-end built environments.

Our Expertise:

-Residential Architecture: Private residences and bespoke interiors.
-Hospitality & Cultural Spaces: Concept-driven environments for the travel and arts sectors.
-Workplaces: Functional and refined commercial developments.
-Spatial Planning: Optimizing human experience through precision and clarity.

At Space Matters, we merge architectural vision with technical rigor. Our goal is to create spaces that are deeply connected to the people who inhabit them, treating every constraint as an opportunity for invention.
