Stephen Bailey

Stephen Bailey is an accomplished aerospace engineer with extensive experience in leadership and engineering roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Vice President and General Manager and Co-Founder and Chief Engineer at Space-ng since April 2023, Stephen is focused on the development of AstroVision Computer Vision systems and mission support for Firefly Blue Ghost Missions. Prior to this, Stephen held the role of Chief Engineer at Redwire Space and contributed as a Systems Engineer for Lockheed Martin's Mars Base Camp project. With a background that includes serving as President and CEO of Deep Space Systems and leading systems engineering efforts for significant projects like Moon Express and BlastOff!, Stephen has consistently demonstrated expertise in mission/system definition, design, and analysis. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
