Zach Jacobs

Zach Jacobs is a Principal Software Engineer at Space Tango since September 2022, where responsibilities include supporting over 22 launches and leading a team to develop software for remote Linux management and on-orbit operations. Previously, Zach served as Chief Embedded Systems Engineer at Faradine Systems, focusing on IoT projects and implementing device interfaces. Earlier experience includes software engineering roles at Volar Video, developing applications for live sporting events, and academic involvement at the University of Kentucky, where supervision of undergraduate students and work on orbital missions occurred. Additional internships at NASA Ames Research Center and Los Alamos National Laboratory provided experience in satellite payload development and CubeSat projects. Zach holds both MS and BS degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kentucky.
