Yonosuke Miwa

Yonosuke Miwa joined Spaceflight as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 2020 after the company’s acquisition by Mitsui & Co., Ltd., in partnership with Yamasa Co., Ltd., was complete. He serves as an officer in the company and supports CEO Curt Blake in the overall executive management as well as being responsible for Spaceflight’s administrative and financial management functions.

Prior to Spaceflight, Yonosuke worked at Mitsui & Co. for more than 20 years in a variety of executive finance and operations roles. Most recently, he served as Deputy GM, Investor Relations Division at Mitsui in Tokyo where he was responsible for communications with investors. He also was the Director, CFO of Misui Power & Infrastructure Development controlling Mitsui’s global IPP business investment.

Additionally, he held leadership roles at Tomb Aviation Inc., in Long Beach CA, where he leased Boeing and Airbus aircraft to airlines around the world, and at Mitsui Rail Capital Europe in Amsterdam where he led the locomotive leasing company. Yonosuke is a graduate of the INSEAD IEP executive management and leadership program and Keio University, with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
