José Rubio

José Rubio has a long and varied work experience. José began their career in 2013 as a Talent Scout (Recruitment Manager) for Harris + Hoole. From 2014 to 2017, they were the Recruitment Manager for Smiggle UK & ROI, where they built an internal recruitment function from scratch and saved £126,000 by recruiting directly in the first 12 months. In 2017, they were Head of Recruitment for Ole & Steen, followed by a Talent Acquisition Specialist FTC role at Eataly in 2020. In 2021, they were Operations Talent Lead at Weezy, where they oversaw the hiring and internal talent development of fulfilment centre managers, shift leaders and delivery riders. José also led a team of 3 talent consultants, 2 onboarders and 1 L&D specialist. In 2022, they were Commercial Talent Partner at Scout, and Talent & People Ops/Projects and HR Implementation & Talent Partner at The Modern Milkman and Super Payments Ltd, respectively. Since 2023, they have been Talent & Culture Manager at Spacemade.

José Rubio attended the University of Bedfordshire from 2002 to 2006 and obtained a BA in Sports Studies.
