Dirk Nehring

Dirk Nehring has held a variety of roles in the biotechnology industry since 1999. Dirk began their career as a Research Scientist at the Biotechnology Institute Mittelhessen GmbH in 1999. In 2001, they took on the role of Research Scientist and Graduate Student at the Technical University Hamburg-Harburg, where they wrote their doctoral thesis on the development of processes to produce high titer supernatants of retroviral pseudotyp vectors for somatic gene therapy. Dirk was also Vice President of the TransMIT Center of Biochemical Engineering and Membrane Technology in 2001. In 2003, they became the Chairman of the regional Biotechnology section of the German Engineers Association at VDI Mittelhessen e.V. In 2004, they were Managing Director of med-s GmbH and Chief Executing Officer of winnehr Ltd. In 2011, they became Managing Director of Lavi-Nehring Ltd. In 2012, they took on the role of Marketing and Sales Consultant for Germany at SpacePharma. Since 2000, they have been Managing Director of delta T GmbH, where they provide reliable and fast transportation solutions for temperature sensitive goods such as blood products, organs, and medications.

Dirk Nehring obtained their Ph.D. (Dr.-Ing.) in Biochemical Engineering from Hamburg University of Technology in 2006. Dirk also holds an M.S. in Process and Biochemical Engineering from the same university, which they obtained in 1996.
