Michael Varley

Michael Varley is an experienced professional with a diverse background in recruitment and talent acquisition, currently serving as an Advisor at Lovers Magazine since May 2022, focusing on celebrating design and supporting creative professionals. Previously, Michael was the CEO and founding member of ACELR8 from May 2015 to March 2023, where the mission centered on transforming how startups scale through Recruitment-as-a-Service. Additional experience includes serving as a Talent Partner at Contentful via ACELR8, founding and editing STYLEHUMPER, and working as an associate consultant at Iperium Consulting Ltd. Michael started their career in customer service roles at Selfridges and Pret A Manger, and holds a degree in Sports Studies from the University of Worcester.
