Alex Pak

Alex Pak has a diverse work experience that spans across various roles and industries. Alex authored and published a book titled "Artificially Inspired: How AI Is Reshaping the World of Design." This digital book provides insights and practical advice on the intersection of artificial intelligence and design. Alex also worked as an AR Creator, UX/UI Designer & Consultant, and Lead Product Designer at different companies.

Alex served as a Design Mentor at Practicum by Yandex, where they mentored over 300 designers. Alex also worked as an Interaction Design Lecturer at the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague. Additionally, Alex worked as a Product Designer and Product Manager at Memsource, where they designed innovative mobile apps and improved brand design.

Prior to that, Alex worked as a UX/UI Designer at SAP Concur and STRV. Alex also gained experience as a Private Tutor, helping university students understand calculus, applied mathematics, and basic programming.

Lastly, Alex briefly worked as a Customer Advisor at Xerox. Alex'swork experience showcases their expertise in design, AI, mentoring, and teaching.

Alex Pak's education history is as follows:

In 2015, Alex enrolled in the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague and pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Systems Engineering and Informatics. Alex completed their degree program in 2017.

From 2017 to 2018, Alex attended the Interaction Design Foundation, where they obtained a degree in UX Design with a focus on Human-Computer Interaction.

In 2020, Alex participated in the Y Combinator Startup School, completing a program focused on developing entrepreneurial skills.

In 2021, Alex attended Practicum USA's School of Mentors, earning a degree in Mentoring.

Alex's most recent educational experience was at the University of Michigan in 2022, where they studied Extended Reality (AR, VR). Although Alex's degree name is not mentioned, they obtained additional certification in User Experience and Interaction Design for AR/VR/MR/XR from the same institution.

In terms of additional certifications, Alex obtained the following:

- Certified Design Mentor from Practicum by Yandex in March 2021.

- User Research - Methods and Best Practices certification from the Interaction Design Foundation in November 2017.
