Tomas Bartak began their career in 2015 as a HW Developer for BTL Medical Technologies CZ a.s., where they designed and assembled PCBs and created tools for testing and developing. In 2016, they became a Co-founder & COO, Chief Information Security Officer, and Security Manager at Spaceti, and also a Co-founder & HW IoT Designer at ilab.io. At ilab.io, they were a HW developer/designer focused on IoT projects. Additionally, they were part of IBM's Academic Internship Program in 2016 as a HW IoT Developer, working with the IBM Cloud Platform and mentoring a hackathon. Their final project was "Light Morning", a Raspberry Pi-based DIY hardware connected to the Bluemix platform, Android and iOS app, and Python server.

Tomas Bartak's education history includes attendance at the Czech Technical University in Prague from 2012 to 2015, where they studied Open Informatics - Computer Systems, and from 2015 to 2016, where they studied Communication, Multimedia and Electrical Engineering. Tomas also attended Střední průmyslová škola elektrotechnická a Vyšší odborná škola Pardubice Karla IV. 13 from 2008 to 2012, where they studied Computational and Automation Technology. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications from TAYLLORCOX, including Data Protection Officer, ISO 22301 Business Continuity Manager, BABOK Intro™, PRINCE2® Agile Intro, ISO 27001 Internal Auditor, ITIL Intro™, and M_o_R Intro (management of risk). Tomas has also obtained certifications from Cisco, including CCNA Discovery - Introducing Routing and Switching in the Enterprise, CCNA Discovery - Networking for Home and Small Businesses, and CCNA Discovery - Working at a Small-to-Medium Business or ISP.
