Alex Brinkmeyer

Alex Brinkmeyer has extensive experience in aerospace engineering, currently serving as Lead Payloads Engineer at SpaceX, responsible for managing reviews of rideshare and primary payloads, developing new standards for small spacecraft testing, and leading a team of payload engineers. Prior roles include Senior Systems Engineer and Manager of Analysis and Test at Redwire Space, Project Manager and Space Materials Engineer at Oxford Space Systems, Aerospace Researcher and Teaching Associate at the University of Bristol, and Senior Design Reliability Engineer at SpaceX. Alex has also contributed as a Space Materials Visiting Research Fellow at Caltech. Educational credentials include a PhD in Advanced Composites from the University of Bristol, a Master's degree from Imperial College London, an Associate's degree from Ecole centrale de Lyon, and an International Option Baccalaureate from Lycée International de Saint Germain-en-Laye, complemented by participation in the Space Studies Program at the International Space University.
