Andrea Avaldi is currently a Principal Structural Engineer at SpaceX, where they focus on designing and optimizing lightweight structures utilizing advanced methodologies and materials. They previously held a variety of roles in structural design, including Head of Structural Design for teams in prestigious events such as the Volvo Ocean Race and America's Cup. Andrea also served as Chief of Structural Design at Luna Rossa Challenge and was an Owner/Founder at ABstructures. They earned a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.
