Andres Wallentin has extensive experience in avionics and engineering, currently serving as Manager of Falcon Avionics & Software Engineering at SpaceX since September 2016, where previous roles include Manager of Falcon Avionics, Lead Avionics Systems Engineer, Avionics Operations and Automation Engineer, and Avionics Integration Engineer. Prior experience includes a Design Intern position at 10xBETA in early 2015, where involvement included the design and assembly of a motorized load delivery system prototype. Andrés also worked as a Wind Engineering Intern at Renova Energia SA during the summer of 2014, developing a wind speed forecasting tool utilizing Artificial Neural Networks, and completed an internship at Banorte in 2013. Andres Wallentin holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, both obtained in 2016.
