Austin Swank

Austin Swank is a seasoned quality inspector and technician with extensive experience in aerospace and mechanical operations. Currently employed at SpaceX since December 2020, Austin has held roles as a quality inspector and test operations technician. Prior to SpaceX, Austin worked at Zenetex as an F404-GE-400/402 mechanical and QA representative, test facilities operator, and qualifier from September 2017 to December 2020. Experience also includes a similar role at VSE Corps from December 2014 to September 2017, and at L-3 Communications Vertex from September 2009 to December 2014. Austin's career began with the United States Marine Corps as an F404-GE-400/402 engine mechanic and QA from August 2004 to August 2009. Additionally, Austin has early experience as a cashier and shift supervisor at Family Video. Austin holds a Bachelor's Degree in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University-Worldwide, completed between 2010 and 2013.
