Ben Shumaker

Ben Shumaker is currently serving as a Fellow at SpaceX, following a distinguished career in various operational roles within the U.S. Army, including Deputy Chief of Operations Group at the Mission Command Training Program, Operations Officer at SOCEUR, and multiple positions within the 101st Airborne Division and 5th Special Forces Group. Ben holds a Master's degree in Interagency Studies from The University of Kansas and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of South Dakota. Previously, Ben worked as a Planner at NSHQ and as a Rough Carpenter for Meehan and Carter Construction. With a commitment to prioritizing mission success alongside team welfare, Ben embodies the belief that no achievement is complete without collective effort.
