Bobby Peden is an experienced aerospace engineering professional with a strong background at SpaceX, starting in January 2013 and advancing to the role of VP - Texas Test & Launch. Throughout this tenure, Bobby held various positions including Sr. Director, Director of Texas Test Operations, and Components Test Manager, overseeing teams responsible for the testing and development of key components for the Falcon 9 and Dragon spacecraft. Notably, Bobby has led significant projects related to cryogenic propellant systems and ground support equipment. Prior experience includes a Graduate Research Assistant role at The University of Texas at Austin, where innovative techniques for measuring projectile velocity were developed, along with internships at Virco and Ad Astra Rocket Company. Bobby holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Arkansas Tech University and a Master’s degree in Engineering Mechanics from The University of Texas at Austin.
