Brad Murphy is an experienced engineering professional with a background in mechanical engineering. Currently serving as the Starship Development Engineering Manager and Starship Avionics Technical Project Lead at SpaceX since February 2021, Brad has previously held the position of Electromechanical Engineering Project Lead at ATI Industrial Automation from July 2019 to February 2021. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Engineer in Electromechanical Systems at LORD Corporation from May 2014 to July 2019, as well as internships in Mechanical Engineering R&D at TransEnterix, Inc. in 2012 and 2013. Brad holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University, earned in 2014.
