Brandon Edelson

Lead Propulsion Engineer, Dragon Engineering

Brandon Edelson is a highly experienced propulsion engineer currently serving as the Lead Propulsion Engineer at SpaceX since August 2015, where Brandon has held various roles in Dragon Engineering, including Senior Propulsion Engineer and Propulsion Development Engineer. Prior to SpaceX, Brandon worked at the USC Rocket Propulsion Laboratory as Chief Engineer and Chief Operating Officer, as well as Chief Aerodynamics Engineer from August 2012 to July 2015. Brandon also gained valuable experience as an Advanced In-Space Propulsion Project Engineering Intern at Aerojet Rocketdyne in 2014. Additionally, Brandon founded and served as the Network President of Staples Television Network from 2009 to 2011, creating a platform for live school sports and community news. An active community member, Brandon was also involved with the Westport Youth Commission during the same period. Brandon obtained a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Southern California in 2015, following a high school education at Staples High School, from which Brandon graduated in 2011.
