Brian Malin

Brian Malin is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in launch operations and nuclear engineering. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of Launch Operations at SpaceX since June 2017, Brian has held various roles including Manager and Lead Launch Engineer. Previously, Brian worked at SCANA Corporation, where as a Nuclear Operator, Brian implemented processes that achieved 100% efficiency in the Operations Department's Corrective Action Program. At the Naval Nuclear Laboratory, Brian accumulated significant control room experience overseeing power plant operations and supervising crews during maintenance. Earlier experience includes design engineering roles at United Space Alliance, focusing on launch support equipment and system improvements. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida and completed Nuclear Power School at the Naval Nuclear Power Training Command.
