Brian Parris

Brian Parris is a Principal Opto-Mechanical Engineer at SpaceX, where they have been actively involved in developing advanced space and airborne laser and electro-optical systems. With experience ranging from hardware design to leading multi-disciplinary technical teams, Brian previously held positions at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Facebook, and Northrop Grumman Corporation. They earned a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University and completed graduate coursework in Optics at the University of Arizona, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Delaware.
